“Ordinary Holy” was written in response to noticing the sacredness of day-to-day life. Whether in a conversations, eating a meal, seeing creation, or reading the Word of God, there seems to be a holiness to each moment.

The song was written in the weeks after the Asbury Outpouring of 2023. After a mountain top experience of worshiping with thousands of people for two weeks straight, it was as if God was saying Look! I am here too! It was such a sweet time of feeling the presence of God in a new way during and after the revival experience.

This song still reminds me of how holy life is. I am especially grateful to my producer, Brennen Meek, for the work he did creating the sounds in the song. It is a pretty, easy listen that reflects the beauty of daily living.
